Dear Parents & Students,
Welcome to Henderson Middle School Team 6E! It is so exciting to meet a new group of parents & students. I'm Ms. Folsom, and I am so humbled and excited to be a part of Henderson Middle for my
4th year. It is even more exciting to start my 21st year of teaching Special Education!
My education background includes a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology/Special Education from Georgia State University and a Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University Atlanta.
What I love about teaching students with specific learning needs is that I get to turn earning into magic! I love learning, and I want my students to love learning too! I consider myself a lifelong learner, and currently, I am striving to finish my Master of Divinity at Emory University.
My teaching and education philosophy is that EVERY student is capable of learning.
Every student has a natural-born gift to excel in something. My goal is to help students find their
gifts and talents. I am looking forward to a great year with you at Henderson Middle School!
