STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines – science, technology, engineering and mathematics – in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real world applications.

Beginning Wednesday, January 18, 2017, any rising 7^th or 8^th grade student interested in participating on a STEM Team in the 2017-18 School Year should pick up and sign for a STEM application from their homeroom teacher. The deadline for all applications is Friday, January 27, 2017 @ 4 p.m.

Applications MUST be returned to the student’s homeroom teacher – no exceptions. NO applications will be accepted after Friday, January 27, 2017.

Students will be randomly selected for 7^th and 8^th grade STEM teams based on the number of available slots.
